Phillip Louis Biesemeyer, 90, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, died Thursday, February 11, 1999, at the Autumn Oaks Nursing Home. Phillip was born December 22, 1908, in Grand Pass, Missouri, the son of Fredrick and Fredrika (Fredericke) Arnesmeyer (Arensmeier) Biesemeyer. He received a portion of his education in the Grand Pass School and attended college. He was a farmer. He was a member of the St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Grand Pass, Missouri. Survivors include his wife, Norma, of the home; three sons, Louis Biesemeyer, Mountain Grove, Lawrence Biesemeyer, Bolingbrook, Illinois, Phillip Louis Biesemeyer, Jr., Claremore, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mildred McMellen, Fenton, Michigan, and Anna Leto, Hinsdale, Illinois; eighteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Phillip was preceded in death by his first wife, one sister and four brothers. Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 15, 1999, at the St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Grand Pass, Missouri, with the Reverend Keith Stuart officiating. Burial was in the Mount Nebo Cemetery, Grand Pass. The family suggests contributions to the St. Luke's United Church of Christ in memory of Mr. Biesemeyer
