She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Samual A. Parry and Ivey Priscilla Collins.

She married Walter Mack Garner and they were later sealed in the Jordan River LDS Temple.

She is survived by children, Richard (Karen) Garner, Sheryl (Larry) Thompson, Donald (Debbie) Garner and Karee (George) Marinos; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Rick, great-grand-daughter, Amanda; great-grandson, Sammy; sisters, Reva and Faye and brothers, Morris, Dean and Ned.
