Mrs. Mariah T. Dent, aged 79, wife of Madison M. Dent, died Tuesday at her home in Rockport. Daughter of Isaac and Catherine (Ault) Williams Young. She was a member of the Rockport Episcopal church.

Surviving are her husband; seven daughters, Mrs. Lulu Moore of Petroleum, W. Va., Mrs. Meda Rush of Massillon, Ohio, Mrs. Georgia Emrick of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Norma Florence of Rockport and Mrs. Birdie Moore, Mrs. Eva Hendershot and Mrs. Hazel Randolph, all of this city; three sons, Nello and Cecil of Rockport and Harry of this city; two step-children, Mrs. Gertie Stephens of Parkersburg and Clyde Dent of Akron, and one brother, Albert Young, who resides in Illinois.

Funeral services are to be held Friday at 2 o'clock from Limestone church. In charge of the service is Rev. Mr. Blackburn. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Dent will be returned to the church from the Franklin Motuary Thursday afternoon.
