WILLIAM KUCK, 71 WAR I VETERAN, BURIED SUNDAY
Funeral services for William Kuck, 71, were held Sunday afternoon at Hubbard Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Bawel, paster of Weimar United Church of Christ, officiating. Interment was in the Masonic Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mr. Kuck died Friday, Sept. 23, in Veterans Hospital at Houston, where he had been a patient at various times over the past several years. His last illness was about three months.
Born Dec. 14, 1888, in this county, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerhardt Kuck. His occupation was farming, and he was never married. He served 17 months in the Army during WWI, 9 months overseas.
Surviving is one brother, Henry Kuck, and a nephew, Bill Cook both of Weimar.
