Vernon Koch passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005. Services will be at 1:30pm Saturday, Oct. 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch Bailey Bosque Chapel with the Rev. Jim Houser and the Rev. Brad Herridge officiating. Burial will follow at Bosqueville Cemetery.
Vernon was born Sept. 19, 1912, in Gatesville, to Gus and Otillie (Apel) Koch. He and Mary Louise McCurry were married Oct. 5, 1934. He was a member of Bosqueville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for more than 57 years.
