Mr. Harrison was 68 years of age at his death. He was born in Monroe township Oct. 25, 1896, a son of Charles B. and Osa Florence Harrison. He was a long-time resident of Winterset, working at the Penn-Dixie and Sargent Brothers quarries here for 22 years. He moved to Marshalltown in 1954, and had been employed at the Evangelical hospital there.
Mr. Harrison was married in 1937 to Zayda L. Cain, who survives him. He also leaves two sons, Clifford H. Harrison of Aurora, Colo., and Richard L. Harrison of Hutchison, Kan.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Ray Harrison of Centerville; and six sisters, Edith Harrison of Winterset, Mrs. Flossie Davis of Stuart, Mrs. Fern Plymesser of Greenfield, Mrs. Helen Johnston of Stuart, Mrs. Ivo Lane of Orient and Mrs. Lela Herrick of Creston.
