Janet Lynn Abston, 56 of Cottage Grove, OR passed away April 3, 2014, from medical complications. She was born October 2, 1957, in Cottage Grove, OR to Victor and Lena "Chris" (Bell) Abston. She graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1975. Janet worked for Marathon Motor Coaches, Stacy's Covered Bridge and for a private investigator in Crescent City, CA. She loved visiting the coast, crabbing, cooking, gardening and an avid Equestrian. She had a deep love for her 3 sons. In her youth was a member of the Cottage Grove Paladine 4H Club. Janet is survived by her father Victor Abston, Reedsport, OR, son Derek, Cottage Grove, OR, son Tyler, Coquille, OR, son Cameron, Bridge, OR, and sister Vickie, Sherwood, OR. She was preceded in death by brother Larry Abston and mother Lena "Chris" Abston.
