Adriana De Roo, 89, of Borculo, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014.
Adriana was born August 16, 1924, in Holland Township to John and Henrietta (Michmerhuizen) Brouwer. She married Adrian De Roo and they raised their family in Borculo. They were members of Borculo Christian Reformed Church. Adrian preceded her in death in 2002.
She is survived by her children, Ronald (Sheryl) De Roo of Zeeland, Carolyn (Bernard) Jager of Allendale, Sharon (Willis) Haveman of Zeeland, Sandra (Graydon) Kooiker of Zeeland, Diane and Ray Hoke of Hastings, Roger (Kristi) De Roo of Zeeland, Paul (Sue) De Roo of Zeeland; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Hollis and Ruth Brouwer of Holland, Junior and Nancy Brouwer of Grand Haven, Arlene and Al Blauwkamp of Zeeland, and Ted Brouwer of Holland; in-laws, Roger Smeenge of Holland and Ann De Roo of Zeeland.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Borculo Christian Reformed Church, 6646 96th Avenue, Zeeland. The Reverend Harlan Vanden Einde will officiate. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. Burial will be in Borculo Cemetery.
