Howard Crites

LITTLE BIRCH - Howard Crites, 84, of Little Birch, died April 28, 1987, in Summersville Memorial Hospital, after a long illness.
He was a retired miner and was a Baptist. He attended Stump Chapel Church, Tesla, and was a member of UMW.
Surviving: wife, Macel Barnett Crites; son, Kenneth Lee of Little Birch; daughters, Irene Cries of Sutton, Barbara Coffman of Little Birch, Kathleen Hoover of Germant; sister, Cora Carr of Parsons; half sister, Virginia Kirby of Cleveland, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Service was held at 11 am Saturday in Stump Chapel Church with the Rev. Darrell Ramsey and the Rev. William Griffin officiating. Burial was in Barnett Cemetery, Bug Ridge, near Sutton. Greene Funeral Home of Sutton was in charge of the arrangements.
