Katie was the daughter of Solomon Quapaw.

"MRS. KATY BEETS
Mrs, Katy Beets, 48, died Friday at the Claremore hospital, the Cooper Funeral home announced Saturday.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Beets of Quapaw; three daughters, Mrs. Christina Stand, Quapaw; Mrs. Magic Maynard,
Pineville, and Mrs, Pauline Deaton, Wyandotte; two sons, Harold Beets, Wyandotte, and Leroy Beets of the Army; a brother, Jess Quapaw of Quapaw, and a sister, Mrs. Anna McKibben.of Quapaw.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a, m. Sunday at the Raymond Stand home, the Rev. Tony Wamego officiating.

Burial will be i« Catholic cemetery at Lincolnville, the Cooper Funeral home directing."
