Fairview, Sanpete County-Funeral services for Gary Larsen Black, four-year-old son of Capt. and Mrs. Dall L. Black, with Occupation forces in Wels, Austria, will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the Farview South Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bishop Peter Otis Nielsen will officiate.
He died in Munich, Germany, 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, following a tonsilectomy.
Survivors include the parents, one sister, Gail Ann Black, a grandfather, Morley Black, Blanding, San Juan County; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L L. Larsen Fairview.
Friends may call at the residence of L.L. Larsen Monday from 11 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in the Sandy City Cemetery." Courtesy of Deseret News.
