Though my big brother's birth certificate read "Louis Monte Veal", no one that I know of ever called him 'Louis'. He was given that name as an homage to his father (see father link) as it was his 3rd given name and his ggf's, Louis Allen Zuspann, first name.

I never heard where the name 'Monte' came from. I don't recall ever seeing another 'Monte', 'Monty' or 'Montgomery' anywhere in any branch of the Veal genealogy. His
name seemed to be as unique as he was.

Monte was born in Corpus Christi, Tx. My first memories of him were from the years, when our father, his 2nd wife (my mother) and our 2 sisters were living on the southside of Ft. Worth, Tx. at 2824 South Adams St between Elizabeth Blvd to our north and Lowden just to our south.

Monte was a little more than 5 years than I, So, when I started 1st grade at E. M. Daggett Elementary, he was in the fifth grade there.
During summer of 1958 my nuclear family moved from

As requested: according to my records, my parents were married on May 30, 1965 and divorced in 1973.

Military Information: A3C, US AIR FORCE
