Orman L. Bach, Sr., age 87, of Eaton, OH, passed away Tuesday morning, April 8, 2014 at the hospice unit of the VA Medical Center in Dayton. Born September 5, 1926 in West Elkton, OH; he was a son of the late Junis & Carrie (Elam) Bach. A US Navy veteran of WW II, he served aboard the USS Gherardi (DMS-30) and the USS Hambleton (DMS-20) as a Fireman Second Class. He retired after 30+ years with Sears Department Stores, working lastly in the Shipping and Receiving Department in the Blue Ash, KY store; and was the owner of Richards Jackets in Eaton from 1984-1994. Orman was a member of the West Elkton Church of Christ and the Lions Club of Eaton where he served as District Governor from 1997-1998. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Burgess Bach, Nelson Bach, Elmer Bach: sisters Blanche Young and Gladys Moore: step daughter Tracy Brower.

Survived by wife Faye (Lewis) Bach, whom he married November 5, 1982: children Orman L. (Debbie) Bach, Jr. of Liberty, IN; Barry Bach of FL; Cynthia (Robert) Cartwright of Oxford, OH; Bonnie Wilcox of FL; and Carol Braughton of Eaton: step children Michael (Darla) Brower of Monroe, LA; Deborah (Dennis) Vessels of Indianapolis, IN; Christie (Steve) Swalley of Rockford, MI: 7 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and step great grandchildren: brother Carl Bach of Findley, OH: sisters Evelyn Louis of Springboro, OH; Phyllis Clippinger of Eaton; Barbara McIntosh of Trenton, OH; and Mildred Willett of MN.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Minister Eloy Encinas presiding.
