LILLIAN JANE SENN

Lillian Jane Senn, 85, of Campbellsport, left her earthly home and entered into the presence of her loving Savior on Friday, May 25, 2001.

She was born on March 12, 1916, in Wild Rose, Wis, a daughter of Erskine and Flora Attoe.

After graduating from Wild Rose High School in 1933, she obtained her teaching certificate from Waushara County Norman School and taught country school in Waushara County and Wild Rose until 1954.

She married Gordon Senn at Wild Rose on June 12, 1954, and they resided in the Town of Ashford on the family farm.

Lillian continued her teaching career in the Campbellsport Public School District where she taught first grade from 1964-1981. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1972.

She was a member of Campbellsport United Christian Church where she was a member of the Women's Guild and taught Sunday School for many years.

Her life was used for the glory of God through her kind and gentle spirit.

She treasured scriptural promises from 1 Peter 1:35; "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade-kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is read to be revealed in the last time."

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Senn Van Beek and her husband, Don of Fond du Lac. She was also the caring and loving grandma of Devon and Cameron Van Beek.

She is further survived by a brother, Alfred (Eunice) Attoe of Wild Rose; two sisters, Dorothy Timm of Mazomanie and Mary Luedtke of Lomira; a brother-in-law, Reuben Unke of Lodi; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon, on April 25, 1989; three brothers, Irving, Arnold an Osborne Attoe; and four sisters, Audrey Gasser, Joyce Bartel, Edith Attoe and Anita Unke.

Services: Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm. Tuesday at Campbellsport United Christian Church on Forest Street, with the Rev. Stevens HIlyard officiating. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, Campbellsport.
