Hazleton Standard Speaker, Thursday, July 12, 1990:
Bernard F. Knoblauh, age 61, of 3951 Washington St., Bethlehem, died Tuesday at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late John J. and Anne (Racho) Knoblauh. He was a member of Scared Heart Catholic Church, First Street in Miller Heights, the Goodfellows, Slovak Catholic Sokols, and was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War. Knoblauh was graduated from MMI in Freeland in 1946, and from Moravian College, Bethlehem, in 1950, where he played football and baseball. He was employed as a foreman of the powerhouse at Bethlehem Steel Company. He retired in 1983 after 30 years of service.

Services will be held Saturday at 9:15 a.m. from the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Miller Heights. Interment will be in the Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, First Street, Miller Heights.
