Daniel E. Angstadt, 72, died Saturday morning in his Oley R.D. 2 residence.
Born in Reading, he as a son of the late Darius S. and Annie K. (Endy) Angstadt.
Mr. Angstadt retired from the Boyertown Casket Co. in 1968 but continued to operate an orchard in Oley Valley until his death.
He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Spangsville, and the Oley Fire Co.
Surviving are his widow, Edith B. (Hafer) Angstadt; a daughter, Naomi H., wife of Ronald L. Kline, Oley R.D. 1; two grandchildren and three sisters: Alice E. Angstadt, Cornwall; Annie E., wife of Roy Wilgis, Yellow House, and Ruth R., wife of Warren Fegley, Mount Penn.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Daniel R. Christ Funeral Home, Oley, the Rev. Norman Shollenberger officiating. Burial will be in Frieden's Cemetery, Oley.
