William M. Webster was found dead in his room at the residence of Mrs. Jennie Mather, on West Second street, yesterday morning about 11 o'clock. He had been up town early that forenoon and upon his return home it is presumed that he went to bed and fell asleep on his face. In that position he smothered to death. Coroner Ebersole was called but decided it was unnecessary to hold an inquest. Wm. Webster was born near Brazil, Clay county, Indiana, May 3, 1848. When one year of age his parents removed to Boonsboro where he has resided the greater part of his life. Three brothers, Samuel of Boonsboro, John of Marcy township, and charles of Boyd county, Neb. survive. The funeral will be held this afternoon.
