Elmwood, March 30 - James Robert Clemmer, 62, died suddenly at 3 a.m. Thursday at his home in Elmwood. He was the son of Thomas William and Lucy A. Barrett Clemmer and was born in Hanna City, Sept. 13, 1887. He married Lorena M. Harper of Hanna City Dec 24, 1919. They lived in Hanna City until 1926, when they came to Elmwood. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and from 1918 to 1936 was a car dealer. Surviving are his wife; four children, Robert Thomas in the Navy stationed at Guam, Mrs. Frances McFall of Elmwood and Miss Esther and Eugene, both at home; four grandchildren and a sister, Mrs., Cora Yinger of Chicago. Funeral services will be held at the Patterson funeral home in Elmwood at a time to be announced. Friends may call at the funeral home.
