GILBERT - Services for Darryl Amick, 73, will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Pastor Leonard Carlson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.
Mr. Amick passed away Friday, April 4, 2014. Born in Gilbert, he was the son of the late Kenneth A. Amick, Sr. and Popie Crout Amick. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and was employed with Derrick Insulation.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Crout Amick, son, Allen Amick (Jenni), daughters, Lisa Smith (Doug), and Terri Amick, grandchildren, Tripp and Parker Smith, brothers, J. Rembert Amick, Harold L. Amick, and Dennis Knight, sister, Betty Crout, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Alton K. "Pete" Amick and Kenneth A. Amick.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church Building Fund, 210 Bethlehem Circle, B-L, SC 29070.
