Eunice L. Keat , 73, formerly of Flicksville Road, Bangor, a resident of Gracedale, the Northampton County Nursing Home in Upper Nazareth Township, died Thursday, Oct. 19, in Easton Hospital.
She was a housewife and was also employed by various Bangor-area blouse mills until her retirement.
Born March 10, 1927, in Bangor, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Helen Beegle Ackerman. She was a member of the former Salem United Methodist Church in Bangor.
She was a 1945 graduate of Bangor High School.
Her husband, Gordon E., died in 1979.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda M. Thomas of Orlando, Fla., and Maureen K. Sandt of Saylorsburg; a brother, William of Washington, N.J.; a sister, Miriam Sandercock of Gracedale; and three grandchildren. A granddaughter died earlier.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Hough Home for Funerals Inc., 207 Market St., Bangor. Call 9:30 a.m. to time services Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
The family requests memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 2045 Westgate Drive, Suite 302, Bethlehem, PA 18017; and the American Cancer Society, Lehigh Valley Unit, 2121 City Line Road, P.O. Box 90127, Allentown, PA 18109-0127..
