The funeral of Mrs. Emma A. Motteler, aged 55, who committed suicide at her home near Echo on Thursday morning of last week, was held at noon last Sunday. Rev. G.E. Whitten was the officiating clergyman. Mrs. Motteler had been ill for some time and as a result her mind had become affected and on Thursday, when alone in her house, sent a rifle bullet through her heart. She is survived by her husband H.B. Motteler, two daughters and four sons, all residing near Echo, with the exception of one son, who lives in Canada and was unable to be present at the funeral.
