Henry E. Motteler, 89, Forks, died at a hospital here Sunday morning after a short illness. Funeral services will be at the Forks Congregational Church Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Donovan officiating. Burial will be at Wenatchee,under the direction of the Forks Mortuary. Mr. Motteler was born in Hilliards, Ohio, June 21, 1861. A farmer, he settled in the Wenatchee valley in 1902 where he lived until the death of his wife three years ago. Since then he had resided in Forks with his daughter, Mrs. Roy Huling. Other surviving relatives besides Mrs. Huling are 3 other daughters, Mrs. Shelly Hayden, Louisiana, Mo.; Mrs. Howard Virgin, Chelan; and Mrs. Leonard Ekman, Tonasket, Wash.; three sons, A.J. Motteler, Elmer City, Wash.; H.E. Motteler, Tacoma; and E.V. Motteler, Leavenworth; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
