Mr. Wales was born April 20, 1900, in the town of Geneva, the son of Arthur and Rita Isham Wales. He lived in Geneva township until the age of 17, after which he moved to Elkhorn. He worked as a meat cutter here his entire life. He married Grace Flack March 22, 1922, at Rockford.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. James Mentz, Rapid City, S. D.; a son, Darrell, Elkhorn, and two sisters, Mrs. Lula Abell and Mrs. Lee Welkos, both of Elkhorn.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Fredrickson funeral home, the Rev. John Bigler of St. John's Episcopal church officiating. Burial will be in Hazel Ridge cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
