The funeral service was conducted Tuesday afternoon, December 4, in the Chapel of the Claude A. McKibbon and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Rev. R.C. Prescott officiated, and interment was in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
Pallbearers were Ed McFarland, Roy Wright, Eugene Bowen, Rudolph White, Wayne Ward, and Hansel Mason.
Mr. Hale was born May 13, 1909, in Randolph County, Alabama, the son of the late Andrew Jackson Hale and the late Lucy Norris Hale. He had lived at Hogansville since 1941, He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hogansville. A retired employee of Uniroyal Corporation of Hogansville.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Odessa Asker Hale of Hogansville; one son, Nathan Hale of Hogansville; one daughter, Mrs. Becky Faulkner of Hogansville; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Bowen of LaGrange and Mrs. Sally Buchanan of Ft. Myers, Florida; one brother, Lester (Buck) Hale of LaGrange; two grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
