Mr. Hardy, 78, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Atwood Personal Care Home in Philadelphia.
He was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of the Coldwater community. He was a retired painter and formerly worked in maintenance at Philadelphia High School. Mr. Hardy was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Hodgins (Ricky) of Murfreesboro, TN; son, Steve Hardy (Nancy) of Springfield, VA; grandchildren, Krystal Richardson (Barry) of Philadelphia, Leah Marie Hodgins of Murfreesboro, TN, Taylor Hardy, Riley Hardy and Will Hardy, all of Springfield, VA; great-granddaughter, Harper Jane Richardson of Philadelphia; brother, Claudie Hardy of Philadelphia; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Mr. Hardy was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian; his parents; and five brothers.
Pallbearers will be Mark Stovall, Ricky Hardy, Larry Hardy, Phil Thomas, Clay Byars, Riley Hardy, Will Hardy and Barry Richardson.
