Helen A Schroeder, 77, of 214 Parkway Drive, Brillion, died Sunday at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah, after a brief illness.
The former Helen A. Jentsch was born Nov. 22, 1905 in the town of Rantoul, daughter of Herman and Anna Zarnoth Jentsch. On October 25, 1924, she married Henry Schroeder. The couple farmed in the town of Rockland until 1946 when they moved to Chilton. Mr. Schroeder died in January 1954.
She was employed at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, for 15 years. After retiring, she moved to Brillion. Mrs. Schroeder was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Brillion and its Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors include four daughters; Mrs. Alvin (Lucille) Hackbarth of Hilbert, Mrs. Evelyn Kalista of Manitowoc, Mrs. Jerome (Caroline) Schroeder of Rural Chilton and Mrs. Al (Helen) Buboltz of Brillion; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Bratz of Reedsville and Mrs. Anna Krueger of Brillion; and two brothers, Robert Jentsch of Manitowoc and Walter Jentsch of Rural Hilbert. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, three sisters and six brothers.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Terry Deters, pastor officiated. Burial was in Reedsville Lutheran Cemetery
