Everett "Buddy Boy" Eugene Wells, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at a local hospital.

Mr. Wells was a former City Alderman for the city of Moss Point and served on the Jackson County Water Board. He loved racing, especially Nascar, he built and raced cars for many years. He retired from International Paper after 40 years.

Mr. Wells was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Florence Wells and his wife, Frankie Lavon Bullock Wells.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Carolyn "Cooter" Wells, sons, Tommy Eugene Wells, Stephen Everett (Cyndi Blanchard) Wells and Michael Anthony (Nancy Grierson) Wells, grandchildren, Zack, Chelsea, Logan, Justin, Riley, Jeremy and Maegan, 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 from 2pm -4pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa-Moss Point, MS. Graveside service will follow at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point, MS for extended family only. Serving as pallbearers will be his four grandsons, David Myers and Jack Malone. Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa-Moss Point, MS is in charge of arrangements.
