Mr. Freddie Elmer Roberts, age 78, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Monday, March 24, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Roberts was born October 26, 1935, in Seligman, Missouri. He was retired manager of a power plant and was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie.
Survivors include his children, Heather, Damon, Kimmie, Tammie, Jimmy and Julie, two sisters, Cynthia Chriestenson and Gayle Jones of Texarkana, Arkansas, and a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P. M. Friday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Bill Chaney officiating. Burial will be at East Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 PM until 7 PM Thursday.
