In Elkhorn, Wisconsin, at the home of Mrs. Hannah West, Almira Wales died April 2, 1905.
Miss Almira Wales, daughter of Sally (Crain) and George Wales of Plymouth, Chenango Co., N. Y., was born January 1st, 1836. She was a graduate of Cazenovia Methodist Seminary, Madison Co., N. Y., and in 1865 came with her mother and brother, Dwight, to North Geneva, Walworth Co., Wis.
Those who were best acquainted with Miss Wales will speak of her as a woman of strong individuality and clear judgment, a good neighbor and a kind friend. As the last one of her generation she, ripe in years and rich in the esteem of all who knew her, has gone to renew the many ties that death has severed.
The funeral was held at 10 o'clock this morning at the M. E. church, Rev. J. T. Murrish officiating, and the interment was in North Geneva.
