WINNSBORO (Special) — Richard Elisha Barber, 49, resident of the Big Ridge community near Winnsboro died Friday morning at a Caldwell Hospital in Columbia after a lengthy illness. He was a millwright for a gas company near Grayson.
Graveside services are to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Durelle Barber, Big Ridge; two sons, Richard, Ocean, Texas, and Lewis of Dallas, Texas, and four sisters, Mrs. Theo J. James, Columbia, Mrs. Lula Tarver, Olla, Mrs. John H. Williams, New Orleans, and Mrs. Mattie Barber, Monroe.
