He was born November 22, 1950 to Lester M. and Dorothy Irene (Evans) Lange in Carthage, Illinois.

Jerry was a member of Wyatt Park Christian Church. He was a self-employed mechanic and a lifelong member of the NRA.

He was preceded in death by his father; and grandmother, Lucile Evans.

Survivors: mother, Dorothy; sons, Kyle Lange (Kelly) and Jake Lange (Brandy); grandchildren, Alex, James, and Wyatt Lange; and numerous friends.
