Mrs. Richardson was one of nine children born to the union of Newton H. Anders and Theodosia Peppers.

Survivors included her husband, Jacob Elijah "Lige" Richardson of Winnsboro; four sons, Thomas N. Richardson and Curtis E. Richardson, both of Houston, TX, J. E. "Jiggs" Richardson, Jr. of Winnsboro, and James J. Richardson of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Thelma Wall of Winnsboro and Artie McDonald of Zachary; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
