REV. ANTHONY ALGOOD – Age 56, Of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center. He served as Associate Minister of Liberty Baptist Church on Pentz Street and was employed at Mohawk Industries. His mother, Patricia Ann Allgood, father, Robert Reynolds, grandparents, Ernest (Susie Mae) Hampton, and Albert Allgood predeceased him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Carol E. Anderson Algood; son, Roderick Lynch; brother, Marshall Parks; aunts, Patsy (William) McDade, Kay (Parker) Moody and Marie (Lavern) Robbs; uncles, Clinton (Pamela) Hampton and Gary Johnson; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Annette) Anderson and Stanley (Marilyn) Anderson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Homegoing service for Minister Anthony Algood will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Yancey, Rev. Jerry L. Burse, and Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Sr. officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday and the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
