Donald Leo Martin, 72, of Mount Gilead, passed away Thursday night, March 20, 2013 at CMC-Northeast in Concord.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday March 23, 2014 at Hamer Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Gilead. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 prior to the service at Edwards Funeral Home in Mount Gilead.
Mr. Martin was born May 2, 1941 in Montgomery County, North Carolina to the late Elton Leo Martin and Roena Belamy Martin. He was last employed with Standard Packaging in Mount Gilead.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Lee Martin.
He is survived by his daughter, Lorie Thompson of Mount Gilead and two grandchildren, Donald Mauldin and Dustin Greene.
