Charles W. Heiney died at 6 a.m. Saturday at his home, 218 East Garrison street, Bethlehem, of a complication of diseases, aged 75 years, 9 months and 24 days. He had been ill six months and bedfast for the past three weeks.
Mr. Heiney was born in Philadelphia on July 30, 1848, a son of the late Charles W. and Mary Heiney.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Heiney; three daughters and one son: Mrs. William P. Bennett and Mrs. Elsie Walters, both of Bethlehem; Mrs. Charles Gross, Warren, Ohio, and Frank F. Heiney, Bethlehem. There are three grandchildren remaining.
