January 1943 graduate of the United States Military Academy. While serving as a flying officer instructor at Laughlin Army Air Field, the Medium Bomber he was in crashed near Del Rio, Texas. He was survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony B Thomas; and two brothers, John J Thomas, and Corporal Robert W Thomas (Troop C, 15th Cavalry, United States Army).
