Mrs. Eagle was born to Harriett C. Edmonson and Wood Harlan Bruder in Morgantown, W. VA. She is survived by her sons George Eagle and his wife Marty of Kailua, HI, Tim Eagle and his wife Patty of Stafford, TX, and Tom Eagle of Houston; granddaughters Kristi Garza and Julie Eagle; a brother Harry Bruder and wife Roz; and a sister Patti Bruder. She was preceded in death by her husband George B. Eagle, Jr. in 1990. During WWII Lela served in the Medical Nurse Corps. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
