Harris Goodspeed
Harris Goodspeed, an aged and much
respected farmer died at his home on
Gill Hill, Tuesday, December 22nd,
after a few days illness of grip and
complications. He was eighty-one years
of age and nearly his whole life was
spent on the farm where he died.
Forty-five years ago he married Ellen
Marr, who with two sons, David of
Hartwick and Lewis of Burlington; one
daughter, Hattie Gardner, of New Lisbon
and nine grandchildren survive him.
The funeral was held in the Episcopal
Church at Morris, Thursday at 2 p.m.,
and was in charge of the Rev. E.R.
Hutchinson, rector of the Church..
Burial was made in the Old Church
cemetery at Morris.
