Received Croix de Guerre with star, citation from city of Chateau-Thierry, and three separate citations from Major General John A. Lejeune for his services in World War I.
Following the war he was secretary of Lonsdale Company in Providence (textiles) and a member of Goddard Brothers (mill agents) before succumbing to a long illness. (Thank you Daniel Blake)
