Mrs. Elsie Marie Bowen Newman, 81 of Westview Drive, Villa Rica, died July 26, 1999, at her residence following an extended illness.
Born February 2, 118 to the late Walter Raleigh Bowen and the late Annie Karr Bowen.
She was a retired seamstress for Arrow Company and later worked at the Villa Rica High Cafeteria. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Villa Rica and a member of the HHH Sunday school class.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul Franklin Newman in 1970, sister Elizabeth Farr and brothers Jack Bowen, Miles Bowen, and Joe Bowen.
Survivors include her son, Donnie, sister Bill Brown, extended family generations.
