Clara L. Miller Seabaugh, 87 of Jackson, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 8, 1926, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Andrew and Anna Marie Stortz Biri. She and Otto L. Miller were married October 30, 1943. He passed away October 28, 1994. She married Lloyd E. Seabaugh on May 4, 1997. He passed away April 10, 2011.
Clara was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson for 68 years. She worked at the former Brice Variety Store in Jackson, the former Jackson Hosiery Mill, and for 30 years at Lenco in Jackson. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, dancing, and watching her grandchildren grow up.
Loving survivors include; a son, Bill (Brenda) Miller of Marble Hill, MO; a daughter, Wilma (Daryl) Sanders of Jackson; four grandchildren, Kimberly Miller, Tammy (Greg) Strubberg, Laura (Larry) Motley, and Wayne (Rashanda) Sanders; three step-grandchildren, Cindy (Andrew) Jansen, Debi Anderson, and Jeff (Christina) Tarble; eight great-grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Bob Blackwell of Fruitland.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 4-8 PM at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, and on Sunday, from 11:00 AM until service time.
The funeral will be Sunday, at 1:00 PM at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the church or charity of your choice.
