"Charles Brown, 65, died Sun. afternoon at 3:50 o'clock at his home in Union Twp. 2 miles east of Mardenis. He had been ill 2 years and seriously ill several months. Death was caused by heart trouble. Surviving are the widow, 4 sons, Clifford Brown of Oklahoma, Frank Brown of Keystone, Garl Brown of Michigan and Ross Brown, at home; & 2 daughters, Mrs. George Wygant of Roanoke and Mrs. Joseph Stanley of Van Buren. There are 12 grandchildren, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Mr. Brown was a member of the Evangelical Church at Mt. Zion. Funeral services will be held Wed. afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at Mt. Zion with the Rev. Heil of Bippus in charge. Burial will be at Union."
