Stone has not been located in recent years.Devoted member of the Womens Christian Temperance Union, and the mother of thirteen children; emigrated from New York to Georgia in 1836, removed again to Minnesota in the days following the American Civil War, and returned to the South to join the temperance community at Harriman. Her grave in the Emory Gap cemetery was disturbed by vandals. She was buried next to two of her grandchildren, and all three graves were marked; however, her stone was found thrown aside several years ago, and its original location may never be known again.
