"Mrs Catherine Lokerson, seventy eight, widow of Peter C Lokerson, and lifelong resident of this section, died last Thursday morning at the home of her son, Joseph W Lokerson, of Adelphia. Two other sons, Walter Lokerson of Adelphia and Dayton Lokerson, Belmar survive. Funeral service was held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the funeral home of CHT Clayton and Son, Adelphia. The Rev Otis F VanBrunt officiated. Burial was made in Adelphia Cemetery".
