CURWENSVILLE - Mrs. Venie Miller, 74, of 414 Thompson street, Curwensville, died in the Clearfield hospital this morning at 7:44 o'clock.
She was the daughter of the late James R. Norris and Martha Caldwell Norris and was born in Pike Township, Curwensville, R.D., Sept. 9, 1877. She was a member of the Curwensville Methodist church and lived her entire life in the vicinity. She was a member of the Rhoda Rebekah Lodge of Curwensville.
She leaves the following survivors: one daughter, Jeanette Miller, at home; four brothers, C. O. Norris of Curwensville; Atlee, Foster and Veighn, all of Curwensville, R.D.; and two sisters, Mrs. A. L. Sample, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Jean Conrad, Clearfield.
Funeral services will be held from the Lininger Funeral Home at Curwensville, Saturday afternoon at o'clock. Rev. Ezra L. Parks will officiate and burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 6:30 until 9:30, Friday from 2 until 10 p.m., and Saturday until time of services.
