Thelma S. Lynn of Tellico Plains, passed away Saturday, July 7, at East Tennessee Health Care. She attended Poplar Bluff Baptist Church and Cane Creek Baptist Church. She was 92. Preceded in death by: her husband, Roy Emerson Lynn; four children who died at birth; parents, Lorenza and Hallie Shaw; and brother, Hob Shaw. Survivors include: daughters- Lucquita Best, Revonda Hicks, both of Tellico Plains; and Nelda Peak of Madisonville; Son-Nickey Lynn of Tellico Plains; Sister-Hazel Debety of Tellico Plains; Seven grandchildren Fourteen great-grandchildren; Eighteen step-grandchildren; Nine step-great-grandchildren; Several nieces, nephews and other relatives Funeral service were in Myers Funeral Home Chapel at 8 p.m., Sunday, with Rev. Gennis Best and Rev. David Chambers officiating. Family and friends assembled at Myers Funeral Home 10 a.m., Monday, July 9 and proceeded to Center Cemetery for an 11 a.m. interment.
