Ebenezer Shreve was my Great, Great Grandfather. He had children by 2 wives; Rachel Sever and Nancy A Mendenhall. He was born in New Jersey; married Rachel in Salem, Warren County, Ohio in 1842. He married Nancy A Mendenhall Bowers in Missouri in 1862. They moved to Dickinson County, Kansas in 1871. Nancy preceded Ebenezer in Death. It remains a mystery as to the parents of Ebenezer Shreve.
