Jomyla D. Robertson, 96, of Hope, died at 4 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1998, at her home.
She worked for several years at the former Hope State Bank, was a graduate of Indiana Business College in Indianapolis and a member of Hope United Methodist Church.
Funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hope United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Jerry Crouse and David Rockhill officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hope United Methodist Church.
Born in Hope Oct. 23, 1901, Mrs. Robertson was the daughter of Ross and Bertha Rominger Bruner. She married Ward E. Robertson Aug. 19, 1931. He survives.
Also surviving are sons, Ross H. Becker of Anderson and John K. Robertson of Hope; grandsons, Steven Robertson of Hope and Thomas "Skip" Robertson of Arlington Heights, Ill.; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Walter, Rollin and George Bruner; and a sister, Martha Bruner.
