Apparently embezzled approximately £1,700 from the Leicester Navigation Company. Edward however fled to America with his new wife Mary Ann WHITE in 1833.
Emigrated in 1833 and, after working as an engineer on railway and canal building projects in Baltimore, Md, settled at Quebec in 1844.
Adopted a blend of late neoclassicism and Italian Renaissance
