Mrs. Lillian M. Frey, 76, of 2628 Brookside, Indianapolis, died Saturday afernoon in the St. Vincent Hospital in that city. She had bee ill for eight years and in the hospital for two weeks. She was born in Monon June 24, 1892 to John and Mary Elizabeth (McDonald) Phebus and was married here to Charles Frey in 1909. He passed away here in 1933. Mrs. Frey had called Monon her home until 2 years ago, when she moved to Indianapolis. She was a member of the Palestine Christian Church. Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Leona Ford of Remington and Mrs. Pearl Jones of Indianapolis; a sister Mrs. Jennie Royer of Romney; two brothers: Gilbert Phebus of Logansport and Fred Phebus of Monon; 3 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. The body was broght to Monon where services were held in the Stewart Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with the Reverand Copeland officiating. Interment was in the Palestine Cemetery.
